I’m kicking off my 12 Days of Books with a new edition rather than a new book: the Financial Times Guide to Business Coaching, 2nd edition, just has to be in here. The first edition was a pivotal book for me, written at a pivotal time in my life. In the interests of full disclosure, […]

“If anyone is going to stop you from getting what you want – please don’t let it be you.” Carol Kauffman Do any of your clients lack self-confidence? How about you? Deep down, are you always as self-assured as you could be? Confidence is a topic many coaches encounter in their work with surprising regularity, even […]

New Year’s Resolutions: What will you focus on?

  • Posted by Liz Gooster

I recognise that the start of a year is a somewhat arbitrary divide between the ‘old’ and the ‘new’, based on the social construction of the calendar. Yet I’ve always been fond of the opportunity it gives to reflect back on what’s happened in the last 12 months, to review any change, continuity, achievements, and […]

It has been quite a time for Richard Wilson, CEO of BMO Global Asset Management (EMEA), after the Bank of Montreal successfully acquired F&C for £708m at the beginning of 2014. As those familiar with the financial world will know, a deal like this can represent the end-point of a long period of uncertainty and […]
